At Encounter Kids’ Church, our young people will learn to have a true and lasting relationship with Jesus, where bible stories are brought to life and the ‘God of the bible’ becomes the God of their heart.
This is achieved through the delivery of interesting and fast moving bible messages, full of fun with exciting games and activities.
We change the topics or themes regularly and whenever possible link these to the main church teaching and life skills development.
We cater for a range of age groups:
Creche 0-3yrs - parents with children of this age run the Creche themselves by taking it in turns. You can listen to a live audio link from this room.
Kids’ Zone - is divided into two age range teaching groups: Infant 5-7yrs and Junior 8-11yrs.
Youth Church 12-15yrs - our teens can sit, eat and drink in their youth hangout room while discussing relevant topics and life issues with their youth leaders.
We at Encounter Church are committed to the safeguarding of children and adults with care and support needs to ensure their well-being. We will provide a safe and trusted environment where everyone is protected from harm. To this end and in line with current legislation, we have a Safeguarding Policy which can be seen on request from Margaret Holman or Lolly Bradley our Designated Safeguarding Leads or Rachel Holmes our Adult and Leadership Link representative.
